Omnis

Privacy Policy

Effective date: [Effective date]

This policy explains how [Omnis legal entity name, e.g. Omnis Ltd] (“we”, “us”) handles personal data when you use Omnis. We are the controller of that data. If anything is unclear, write to privacy@omniscompute.com.

1. Who we are

[Omnis legal entity name, e.g. Omnis Ltd], [Registered address]. Privacy contact: privacy@omniscompute.com.
EU/UK representative: [EU representative, or Not applicable].

2. The data we collect

  • Account data: your email address and a securely hashed password (we never see your password itself), and anything you add to your profile.
  • Content you send: the prompts and files you submit and the outputs you receive. We save them in your chat history so you can come back to them.
  • Balance and payment records: your credit balance, a log of top-ups and charges, and payment status. Card and bank details are collected and held by [Payment processor, e.g. Stripe], not by us.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, time of use, and error logs, used to run and protect the Service.
  • Messages to us: what you write when you contact us.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of data. Please do not put them into your prompts.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

  • To provide the Service (create your account, run your requests, keep your history, manage your balance and payments) — needed to perform our contract with you.
  • To keep the Service safe (prevent fraud and abuse, enforce the Terms, handle payment disputes, fix bugs) — our legitimate interest in a secure service.
  • To meet legal duties (tax and accounting records, responding to lawful requests) — legal obligation.
  • To send product news or offers, only if you opt in — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your prompts to train our own AI models.

4. Who receives it

We share data only with service providers who need it, under contracts that protect it:

  • AI providers (for example OpenRouter, fal and the companies that run the models). Your prompt is sent to the provider that handles your request. They process it under their own terms, which may include limited storage. Avoid sending data you would not want a provider to see.
  • Hosting and database providers that run our website and store accounts and history (for example Vercel and Supabase).
  • Payment processor: [Payment processor, e.g. Stripe].
  • Professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it.
  • A buyer, if we are part of a merger or sale of the business, under the same protections.

5. Transfers outside your country

Some providers are in the United States or other countries. When personal data of people in the EU, UK or Switzerland is transferred outside those regions, we rely on approved safeguards such as an adequacy decision (for example the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified companies) or Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for details.

6. How long we keep it

  • Account, chat history and balance: as long as your account is open, and deleted or anonymised after you close it (usually within 30 days), unless we must keep something longer.
  • You can delete individual chats at any time.
  • Payment and invoice records: kept as long as tax and accounting law requires (typically several years).
  • Security and error logs: a short period, usually up to 90 days.

7. Cookies

We use only the cookies and similar storage that are strictly necessary, for example to keep you logged in and to protect the Service. These do not need your consent. If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this section.

8. Your rights in the EU, UK and similar regions

You can ask us to:

  • give you access to your data and a copy of it;
  • correct data that is wrong;
  • delete your data (“right to be forgotten”);
  • limit how we use it, or object to uses based on our legitimate interests;
  • give you your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what was done before.

Write to privacy@omniscompute.com. We reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

9. Your rights in the United States

Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Virginia and other states with privacy laws), you may have the right to know what personal data we collect and use, to access, correct and delete it, to get a copy, and not to be treated unfairly for using these rights.

  • We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal data for purposes beyond running the Service.
  • Send requests to privacy@omniscompute.com. We may need to verify your identity. You may use an authorised agent. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer.
  • Over the last 12 months we have disclosed the categories of data listed in section 2 to the service providers listed in section 4, for business purposes only.

10. Children

The Service is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has given us data, tell us and we will delete it.

11. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and separation of customer data so that you can only see your own. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

12. Automated decisions

Choosing which AI model fits a request in “Easy” mode is automated, but it only affects which model answers you. It has no legal or similarly significant effect on you. We may also use automated checks to detect abuse and fraud, and a person reviews any decision to suspend an account on that basis.

13. Changes

We will update this policy when our practices change and will tell you about important changes in advance. The effective date at the top shows the current version.
